The following Obituary was listed in the Saint Augustine Record newspaper
on November 30, 2004:
Marie Bower-Morris (nee Canova), age 85, died Nov. 25, 2004. Originally
from a well-known St. Augustine colonial family, Mrs. Bower resided in
Miami for 40 years before moving to Pembroke Pines. She was the loving
wife of Robert Shadle Bower and later, William Morris.
She is survived by sons, Michael and Roy Bower; grandchildren, Michael
Bower, Jr., Monica Bower and Natalie Bower Diggs. She also leaves behind
two great-grandchildren, Alexander and Kaylee Diggs. Mrs. Bower was the
daughter of Lucien and Ethel Andreu Canova.
Visitation was held Monday, from 6 to 8 p.m., and funeral service is at
11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2004, all at Panciera Memorial Home. Interment
to follow at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.
